The story like is good and there's these really cute mice in the game witch make it 10 times better. Anyway, amazing game, something you'd come to expect from chucklefish. Overall 9/10. A remake of the free pixel platformer Treasure Adventure Game, this version has beautiful graphics, a great soundtrack, story and pacing improvements, and puzzle improvements. It's a Metroidvania-style game where you travel around the whole world solving puzzles, going back and forth to collect items and powerups, and fight the occasional boss. It's a refreshingly different setting for this kind of game, with a mix of Indiana Jones-style environments, modern cities, and cozy little farms. And talking animals that can do magic. PROS:Fun, replayable, engaging Metroidvania format, unique world, good soundtrack and sound effects. CONS: Some of the jumping puzzles can be annoying, but they aren't unfair and can be solved with a little effort. Controllers are recommended, this is no fun on a keyboard. Some load times seem to take too long for a relatively simple game. Some game mechanics not explained at all (e.g. the purple portals). OVERALL:This is a lot of fun and is great for all ages. It would fit in anyone's game library. It has an engaging and thought-provoking story and has a lot of replayability. (Disclosure: I backed this game through Kickstarter.). Very wholesome game would buy at full price again. Been playing for a bit over an hour and this seems to be exactly what I expected. Which is a good thing. Someone complained that the XBoxOne controller didn't work, therefore they couldn't play. Well, before you begin, if you are using one of these controllers, you have to go to the Options menu in the game and set up your controller. Once that was figured out, everything moves along pretty smoothly. Jumping isn't precise and it takes a bit of getting used to, but so far so good. Unless I get further and come across a road block, I'd recommend this to those who like platform-adventure-with some RPG elements games.. Very wholesome game would buy at full price again
